From January 2015, the Journal of Wood Science (JWS) will change its format. From vol. 61 No. 1, JWS will only be provided online (e-journal).

The new charge system as below will be applied from April 1, 2015.

- For Full, student and supporting membership members:

A one year subscription with JWS booklet is possible if you let us know by email (office@jwrs.org) before the end of January in the year. It costs 15,000 yen (+ tax of 1,200 yen)/every year (No.2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and No.1 of the next year).

For support and corporation/organization membership members:

Springer Inc. is ready to contract individually for online distribution of JWS. The price is expected to be 300–400 euro, which will be decided after next year.

The 4th Announcement of International Symposium on Wood Science and Technology 2015 (IAWPS2015)

The Japan Wood Research Society invites all scientists interested and involved in various aspects of wood to the International Symposium on Wood Science and Technology 2015 (IAWPS2015) at the Tower Hall Funabori, Tokyo. The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists working on this sustainable and most promising biomaterial for the 21st century.

The Banquet of IAWPS2015 is held simultaneously with that of the 65th Annual Meeting of the Japan Wood Research Society for intensive exchanges of the attendees of both conferences.

The 3rd Announcement of the 65th Annual Meeting of the Japan Wood Research Society in Tokyo

The Japan Wood Research Society (JWRS) takes great pleasure in inviting all members of our society with an interest in the science and technology of wood to attend the 65th Annual Meeting of the JWRS (Annual Meeting) that will be held from March 16th to 18th, 2015, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan. The Annual Meeting will be held jointly with the memorial ceremony for celebrating the 60th anniversary of JWRS and an international conference (IAWPS2015).

Mokuzai Gakkaishi (Journal of the Japan Wood Research Society)

Mokuzai Gakkaishi is another official journal of the Japan Wood Research Society.
